    SPRING GROVE REHABILITATION AND HEALTHCARE CENTER - NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ

     

    DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS 

     

    Spring Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Director of Admissions who is outgoing, driven and customer-service oriented to join our family!

    The Director of Admissions will develop census and quality mix, and manage the admissions process for prospective and incoming residents, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2+ years in a related Admissions or Business Development position within long term care or related healthcare setting.
    • Previous health care community relations experience.
    • Must have strong sense of urgency, self-motivation and goal-orientation.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, as admission/marketing responsibilities may dictate.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred

     

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with Director Business Development on maintaining a strong network of referral sources and partners.
    • Proactively reach out to and respond to inquiries from hospital discharge planners, families and other referral sources.
    • Serve as the initial liaison with resident and families on facility services and issues.
    • Interview resident or resident's representative to obtain necessary personal and financial data to determine eligibility for admission.
    • Conduct marketing and tours of facility for prospective clients.
    • Assign accommodations for new admissions related to nursing care needs, resident and resident's families preference, availability of space, and other information
    • Ensure all admissions paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately and on a timely basis.
    • Maintain records of admissions and discharges, and compile occupancy census data.
    • Develop presentations and events aimed at community education and awareness on facility specialty programs and services.
    • Other responsibilities as required.
