    CORPORATE DIRECTOR OF STAFF DEVELOPMENT (REGISTERED NURSE) - MA, MD, NJ, PA, RI

     

    Corporate Director of Staff Development opportunity available with Marquis Health Services, one of the Northeast’s leading providers in Subacute Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Facilities. 

     

    We are actively seeking a Corporate Regional Director of Staff Development to lead clinical education initiatives across the organization.

     

     

    **This position requires extensive travel with overnights within the States of Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvannia and Rhode Island**

    Qualifications

    • Must possess valid unencumbered, RN State License. Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
    • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
    • Minimum three (5) years of clinical nursing experience within a long-term care setting.
    • Must have experience in management and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
    • Must have electronic medical record experience; Point Click Care knowledge preferred
    • Multi-facility experience required
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
    • Road Warrior – Extensive travel with overnights

     

    Responsibilities

    The Corporate Director of Staff Development will report directly into the Vice President of Clinical Services.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assists facilities in building a robust staff development programs
    • Works with facility level staff development to implement meaningful programming for staff education
    • Workswith regional teams to identify opportunities for facility educational opportunities
    • Works with corporate and regional teams to develop programs, policies and procedures
    • Provides leadership in formulating the goals and objectives for the  educational programs of each facility
    • Oversees, evaluates and controls the quality of in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures
